Join TONIC ART CLUB Tuesdays evenings 6.30-8.30pm at Penshurst Village Hall and paint in a supportive, social environment. Guided by tutor Eleanor May Watson, you can set and reach your own creative goals, whether that means just carving out precious time to make art, building new friendships, or advancing your skills in composition, colour, and mark-making.

Still life's set up every week inspired by a different artist with a corresponding drawing exercise if you are feeling the need for inspiration. All drawing materials included.

The term will be split up into workshop demonstrations, one-to-one and group feedback. Eleanor will revisit your project regularly to give you individual help and guidance.

Bring a sketchbook of ideas or  images to work from, your bundle of chosen materials and make your work in company with a dedicated tutor there to help you to realise them.

Eleanor will provide a still life inspired by a different artist's work and a corresponding drawing exercise at every session for those looking for inspiration.

Is it for me?

Anyone looking for helpful, practical feedback to improve their art whilst painting in company. Whether you are new to making work or a more experienced artist or maker. I focus on creating a welcoming environment without any pressure.

'Eleanor is a natural teacher with great deal of knowledge and skill. During the two day course I felt really supported with plenty of encouragement to experiment and apply my personal expression in my paintings.'
